About CTET
CTET — the Central Teacher Eligibility Test — is conducted by CBSE. Qualifying it is a minimum eligibility condition for teacher posts in central government schools such as Kendriya Vidyalayas and Navodaya Vidyalayas, and many state and private schools accept it too. It is an eligibility test, not a recruitment: passing it does not by itself give a job.
